Popular ‘Reload Lanes’ Open At State Road 417 John Young Parkway Toll Plaza

Today, the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) opened its second location for the popular in-lane drive-up customer service “Reload Lane” program at the State Road 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) John Young Parkway Toll Plaza. The new Reload Lanes, opened at 8 AM on Wednesday, March 8, 21017, and are located on both north- and south-bound lanes of the State Road 417 John Young Parkway toll plaza. Thereafter, the new service lanes will be open 6 AM to 8 PM seven days a week.E-PASS Reload Lanes are now open

The new Reload Lanes were specifically chosen for the State Road 417 John Young Parkway Plaza to make it simple and convenient for drivers in south Orange and Osceola Counties to get an E-PASS prepaid toll account or manage an existing E-PASS account. With E-PASS, drivers are able to enjoy nonstop travel on all area toll roads and reap the cost-saving benefits of E-PASS local toll discounts.

Using the Reload Lane service, customers are able to get an E-PASS or replenish an existing E-PASS account right from the convenience of their car using cash, checks, debit or credit cards, in a matter of minutes. Reload Lane customer service representatives will also be able to provide drivers with an opportunity to either purchase a portable transponder or get the E-PASS toll sticker for free.

CFX opened the first Reload Lanes in May 2016 at the State Road 408 Conway Toll Plaza, the only drive-up customer service lanes in the Continental United States. Since opening, more than 7,000 area drivers have used the Conway Toll Plaza Reload Lanes to get an E-PASS account, and thousands more have added funds (Reload) to an existing account. Future Reload Lanes are planned at the State Road 429 Forest Lake Main Plaza later this year.

E-PASS is the local prepaid toll program owned and operated by CFX. E-PASS was the first electronic toll collection system in Florida when it was introduced in 1994. E-PASS tolls collected on CFX expressways stay local and are reinvested back here in Central Florida.
