The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is opening our third customer service “Reload Lane” location at the State Road 429 (Daniel Webster Western Beltway) Forest Lake Toll Plaza in west Orange County. The new Forest Lake plaza Reload Lanes will be open 6 AM to 8 PM seven days a week starting Wednesday, May 10,2017, and will be located on both north- and south-bound lanes.
CFX specifically chose to place Reload Lanes at the State Road 429 Forest Lake plaza to help make it easy and convenient for cash customers to sign up for E-PASS before we open our first section of the Wekiva Parkway this summer. Once open, the new 4.5 mile section of the Wekvia Parkway will connect State Road 429 at the Connector Road to Kelly Park Road. It will also feature all electronic (cashless) tolling, which means customers without E-PASS will receive a more expensive Pay-by-Plate invoice.
Using the Reload Lane service, customers are able to get an E-PASS or replenish and existing E-PASS account right from the convenience of their car using cash, checks, debit or credit cards, in a matter of minutes. E-PASS customers save money and spend less per toll than cash and Pay-by-Plate customers. Plus, they are automatically eligible to receive even greater savings through the CFX Customer Loyalty Discount program and Beltway Discounts.
Since opening our first Reload Lanes in May 2016, the only drive-up customer services lanes in the Continental United States, thousands of customers have used the Reload Lanes to get an E-PASS or add funds to an existing account.
E-PASS is the local prepaid toll program owned and operated by CFX. E-PASS was the first electronic toll collection system in Florida when it was introduced in 1994. E-PASS tolls collected on CFX expressways stay local and are reinvested back here in Central Florida.
